Please find attached a bill to redirect discretionary council funds from the Capital Projects Fund to Park
Improvement projects for Districts 4, 7 and 8.
The list of projects per district will be submitted directly to the Department of Parks and Recreation.

RE: Attached Bill in regards to Amending Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended, Relating to
Public Improvements and Financing
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regards to Bill No. 233 , authorizing the transfer
of Capital Projects Funds, waiving said referral from the Committee of Finance in order that
appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
