Bill No. 90, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 200,
dated March 31, 2003, amends Ordinance No. 02-76, as amended, the Operating Budget. ending
June 30, ?003. The amendment is as follows:

The Department of [?nvironmental Management will he receiving additional funds from the State
ol~ Hawai'i Department of Health to continue the used oil collection program.
Pursuant to Section 46-7. Ilawai'i Revised Statutes. and Section 13-13(b). I lawai'i Count
Charter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for. receive and cspend the funds for this
program identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 90 and
recommends it pass first reading.
