I~he Oftce of the Prosecuting Attorney will be receiving additional funds from the Attorney
General's Office to be used to supplement the Victim Assistance Programs salaries and wages
account.
Pursuant to Section 46-7. Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 1 3-13(b). I lawai'i Count}
Charter, the Mayor is already authorised to apply for, receive and expend the funds for this
program identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 1(10 and
recommends it pass first reading.
