These funds from the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation will be used lilt public
transportation services and equipment.
Pursuant to Section 46-7. Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-1 3(h), I lawai'i County
Charter, the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds tier the
Federal Transit Adminisuation program.
Your Conunittec on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 105 and
recommends it pass first reading.
