Your Committce on Finance, to which was relerred Resolution No. 77-0~, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 77-03, transmitted by Director of Finance William ~fakaba, via Communication No. 253,
dated Mav 19, 2003, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from Ms. Sadame Watanabe.
Ms. Sadame Watanabe, a teacher of karaoke, has graciously donated a new karaoke system to Um
Department of Parks &Recreation-Elderly Activities Division (L:AD). 'fhe value of this donation is
estimated at $1,135.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12. I Iawai'i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the Count}_
may accept gifts or donations ofpersonal property.

Your Committce on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 77-U ~ and
