conununication from Walh lido, Legishuive Assistant, Ofticc of the Legislative Auditor dated June 13,
2002. This letter provides a legislative account of procedures and processes used for the Sister Cih program
and idemifies existing discrepancies in the current County Code.

program. Your Committee requested that information about political leadership within Sister Cities he kept
currcm.
Your Committee finther amended Sections 2-164(6) and 2-166(c) of Bill No. 118 h} adding language to
encourage reciprocig and eliminating a requirement to list fiscal data in the annual report.
Your Committee is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Bill No. I I R, as amended to Droll 2. and
rcammmends that it pass first reading.
