Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 153, reports as follows:
Bill No. 153, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 357.
dated September 19, 2003, amends Ordinance No. 03-90, as amended. the Capital Budget,
ending June 30, 2004, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Isaac Hale Beach Park Expansion 110-599-5590.36 $520,824
& Improvement
Funds for this project shall be provided from federal grants receivable.
These funds from the National Park Service, through the State Department of Land and Natural
Resources, Division of State Parks will be used for the installation of restroom facilities, picnic
areas, ADA parking, boat parking area and lighting.
Some Members of Your Committee requested a revised Financial Impact Statement, which
includes prior funding. Information is needed prior to the next Council meeting.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 153 and
recommends it pass tirst reading.
