Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred t3i11 No. 162, reports as follows:
13111 No. 162, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 372,
dated October 6.2003, amends Ordinance No. 03-91, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2004. The amendment is as follows:

3301.01 Nutrition Program General $40,000
To:
010-481-5483.03 Nutrition Program -Equipment General $40,000
hhe Office of Aging has allocated additional funding to the F,lderly Activities Division's
Nutrition Program to purchase a vehicle for the Nutrition"s Home Delivered Meals program for
its transport of meals to the homebound elderly.
Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), 1~awai'i County
Charter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for this
program identified in the Operating Budget.
Por informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of [3111 No. 162 and
recommends it pass first reading.
