Bill No. 167, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 382, dated October I5,
2003_ amends Ordinance No. 03-90, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending June 30, 2004, by reappropriating
lapsed fuel tas funds and establishing the following district appropriations:

Specifically, this ordinance reappropriates the lapsed 1988-92, 1992-94, 1994-96, 1996-98. 1998-2000, and 2000-
02 fuel tax district appropriations as shown on an Exhibit A. Because the original amounts were established by
formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds would be reappropriated back to their respective districts.
Allotments from these district appropriatirnis will he made to the following specific projects:

Some members of Your Committee were concerned with the project selection process, and requested ongoing
status reports of the fuel lax projects, expenditures and balances.
