Your Committee on Parks and Environmental Management to which was referred Communication No. 324,
with attached resolution 95-03, reports as follows:
Communication No. 324 is from Ivan Torigoe, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated August 6, 2003,
transmitting Resolution No. 95-03 for the Council's review and consideration.
Resolution 95-03 is a resolution accepting the dedication of a 3.994 acre parcel and a 3A23 acre parcel, more
or less (for park purposes) from Machado Acres Association. Because of incomplete information regarding
flood cones and the non-protit entity conveying the deed, this was the third time this resolution was
considered. Prior to today's meeting Resolution 95-03 was considered on September 3, 2003 and on October
7, 2003. l~hcse parcels are situated at Waiakea, South Hilo. County and Slate of Hawaii and identified by
Tax Map Keys(3)2-4-060-001 & (3)2-4-029-028,1ots 33 and 45.
Your Committee is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution 95-03 and recommends its adoption.
