Re: Comm. No. 475/Bill No. 222
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 222, reports as follows:
Bill No. 222, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 475,
dated January 22, 2004, amends Ordinance No. 03-90, as amended, the Capital Budget. ending
June 30, 2004, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RF,CREATION:
Repairs to Facilities 110-599-5599.52 [$500,000] $750,000
Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from:
General Fund and/or Other Sources $250,000
"Chew additional funds will enable the Department of Parks and Recreation to repair and
renovate facilities and infrastructure islandwide.
Originally heard on February 3, 2004, this measure was previously deferred on that day due to
heavy scheduling of all committee meetings for the day.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 222 and
recommends it pass tirst reading.
