Bill No. 244, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 167-04 by Director of Finance
William Takaba, via Communication No. 545, dated March 1, 2004, amends Ordinance
No. 03-91, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2004. The amendment is as
follows:

These funds, donated by the Staff and Management of Kona Cost Resort in recognition of the
team being an outstanding partner in the community, will be used for the Hawaii County Police
Department's Special Response "feam.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 244 and
recommends it pass first reading.
