Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 563, repori~ as follows:
Communication No. 563, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated March 22, 2004, dominates
Mr. Jeffrey B. Judd of Council District 6 to serve on the Hawaii County Salary Corq'Imission.
Mr. Judd would replace Mr. Richard Rego, who has resigned.
A lifetime resident of Hawaii, Mr. Jeffrey B. Judd is retired as a Special Agent with the Hawaii
Volcanoes National Park. He is a member of the Security C ommittee for the Volcar{o
community's Cooper Center. Of no political party affiliation, he will serve a term tc~ end
December 31, 2007.
Pursuant to Section 13-28, Hawaii County Charter, the salary commission shall col~sist of nine
members appointed by the mayor with the approval of the council.
Yom' Committee on Finance recommends the confirmation of Mr. Jeffrey B. Judd tq the Hawaii
County Salary C ommission to serve a term ending December 31, 2007.
