Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 239, reports as follows:
Bill No. 239, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 523,
dated February 4, 2004, amends Ordinance No. 03-90, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending
June 30, 2004. by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Prosecuting Attorney's Office at 110-199-5191.27 $3.450,000
Aupuni Center
Funds for these projects shall be provided from general obligation bonds, capital projects, fund-
fund balance and/or other sources.
Funds will be used for the design and construction of offices for the Prosecuting Attorney's
office at Aupuni Center.
Some members of Your Committee were concerned that the CIP is being amended at this time,
while the next tiscal year C[P is being established. Another concern was that more funds are
being expended on the Aupuni Center Building.
For informational purposes, Mr. "Eyler voted kanalua, then no.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of bill No. 239 and
recommends it pass first reading.
