Yow' Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Communication No. 652 and
attached Resolution No. 198-04, reports as follows:
Communication No. 652 and attached Resolution No. 198-04, dated June P; 2004, from Patricia O~Toole, Deputy Corporation
Counsel, proposed a resolution authorizing the acceptance of dedication of real properties, including all subdivision improvements
thereon, from Gerald 'I'. Kodama to the C ounty of Hawaii for road and drainage purposes. Also on today~s agenda was
Communication No. 652.1 and attached Resolution No. 198-04, Draft 2, dated June 24, 2004, from Ms. O'Toole.
Your Committee at its meeting today moved to approve Resolution No. I98-04, which was amended to Draft 2. to include clauses
indicating that the subject subdivision improvements have been completed according to County of Hawaii standards, arc acceptable
for dedication, and are in thll compliance with the provisions of Chapter 23 (Subdivision Code), of the Hawai' i County Code. Council
Member l~yler requested information on the status of Easernent Q which may allow the comiection of the streets within the
subdivision, be made available at the next meeting of the County Council on this matter. Council Members also requested map(s)
showing where the project is within the district be submitted.
For informational purposes, Councilman Tyler voted kanalua times two.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 198-04.
