Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 215-04, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 215.04, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 304 by Director of Finance William
Takaba, via Communication No. 709, dated July 21.2004, amends transfers funds as follows:

010-101-5101.91 Contingency Relief General $363.221
Co:
010-801-5801.35 Transfer to Solid Waste Fund General $363,221
The funds being transferred into the Solid Waste Fund account will help the Environmental
Management Department comply with their Consent Agreement with the State Department of
Health and will also help them implement measures to increase diversion from both the Hilo and
Pu`uanahulu landfills.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 215-04
and recommends its adoption.
