Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 322, reports as follows:
Bill No. 322, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 240-04 by Director of Finance
William Takaba, via Communication No. 759, dated September 10, 2004, amends Ordinance
No. 04-74, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2005. The amendment is as
follows:

These funds from the Dell Computer Recycling Grant awards will be used to conduct one-day
computer recycling event in West Hawaii in January 2005. The Department of F,nvironmental
Management was selected from a competitive group of almost 175 applicants including state and
local governments and municipalities, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 322 and
recommends it pass tirst reading.
