Dear Honorable Council Members:
1 write in s ipport of the resolution, as vice-President of PATH, and as a person interested in
and apprcc,ative of the special place that is Hawaii Island.
The vision of this pathway that encircles our Big Island is that of another network of
alternative transportation as well as rccrcatiou One that ties our eemmunities together in
several wa:~s. The means is as great as the finished pathway: Distant communities working
together to further connect with each other, assettlug their steeds while attentive to and
respecting ethers, is anoll," example of how the Dig Island is special, and why we chose to
live here.
