Your Committee on Finance. to which was referred Bill No. 349, reports as follows:
Bill No. 349_ transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, via Commwiieation No. 803, dated
October 6, 2004, amends Ordinance No. 04-74, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
.lune 30. 2005. The amendment is as follows:

020-301-5301.06 Highway Maintenance Admin Highway $298,200
Equipment
TOTAL $298.200
These funds will be used to purchase seven (7) 6-passenger dump trucks with radio accessories.
Currently, while Administration is reviewing requests for supplemental funding from the fund
balance, there is an immediate need that they provide funding for equipment necessary for the
new additional Highway Maintenance positions that are being funded in Bill No. 310 and
Resolution No. 225-04.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 349 and
recommends it pass first reading.
