RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Kona Council Office is in need of a new video conferencing system as
the current system has been malfunctioning; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance company servicing this equipment is no longer in
business; and
WHEREAS, Data Systems Division has recommended that the Council purchase a new
video conferencing system; and
WHEREAS, video conferencing system is a vital component for the community to
communicate with our Council Members; and
WHEREAS, the shortfall in the Clerk-Council Svc Equip account will be supported by
excess funds in the Clerk-Council Svc OCE account; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
