Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to submit the nomination of Charles R.
Cartwright of Kona to the Hawaii County Kailua Village Design
Commission to replace Lloyd S. Nakano, whose employment
required him to move out-of-state.
Mr. Cartwright is a life-time resident of Hawaii and since
1987, has been the president of Big Island Inspection
Services. He is active with the Rotary Club, the American
Society of Home Inspectors and CAC in Kona.
If approved, Mr. Cartwright will serve the balance of the
unexpired term, which will end on December 31, 1999. Should
the Council require further information, you may contact me at
your convenience.
