Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 2
Below for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 2, regarding the
operating budget. This amendment will increase the General Fund, Revenues, Fund Bal From
Prev Year account by $166,400 and increase the expenditure Transfer to Solid Waste Fund
account by the same amount. Corresponding appropriations to the Solid Waste Fund will be
used to add nine (9) Equipment Operator III positions to increase diversion rates by collecting
and delivering recyclables to the proper salvage facilities.
Also, Section 3, Position Changes, the following are proposed new positions:
1. Department of Environmental Management
a. Nine (9) Equipment Operator III
