Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 2 V
Aattached for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 2, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund, Revenues, Real
Property Taxes by $2,331,000, increase Fund Bal From Prev Year by $2,283,000 and decrease
Expenditures-Tr to PubAcc/Op Sp Pres Fund by $48,000 (2% requirement). Resolution 621-08,
regarding the real property tax was adopted by the County Council at its meeting held on
May 7 s, which reduced the Residential building and Agriculture building tax rates.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the revenue account(s) and
expenditure (s) are reflected below:
