A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the recent storms have shown that culverts and drywells need to be
continually cleared of debris for safety reasons as blocked culverts and drywells increases the
occurrence of flooding; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works maintains culverts and drywells by
removing debris and silts; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for the purpose of maintaining culverts and drywells in Council
District 7; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $3,045
CREDITED TO:
010.233.5233.02 Department of Public Works $3,045

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works and the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
