RESOLUTION NO. 6~2 08
RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the residents in the Hawaiian Beaches area of Council District 5 are active; and
WHEREAS, the County facility in the Hawaiian Beaches Park is used for family gatherings,
community events, sports activities, educational and senior citizen activities; and
WHEREAS, the kitchen equipment may need to be replaced from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is supportive in maintaining the facility
in support of park users; and
WHEREAS, the community will fully benefit by the new equipment; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation to be used for providing kitchen equipment for the County
facility in Hawaiian Beaches; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,567.67
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,567.67

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
