RESOLUTION NO. fi-'75 08
RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the skateboard enthusiasts of Council District 5 are active; and
WHEREAS, the County facility in Pahoa is used by skateboarders of all ages; and
WHEREAS, the skateboard park facility may need to be secured to prevent vandalism;
and
WHEREAS, the County facilities require various types of equipment, maintenance and
repair; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is supportive in maintaining safe
facilities for all park users; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used for providing fencing for the skate park and
equipment and maintenance for County facilities in Pahoa; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $24,500
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $24,500
Transfer to Cap Proj. Fund-G
(Pahoa Skate Park Fence $8,900; 110.599.5599.88)
(Pahoa Playground Equipment $15,600; 110.599.5599.88)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
