Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
For your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the operating
budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund, Revenues, Fund Bal From
Prev Year by $73,897 and decrease Expenditures Clerk-Council Svc S&W by $80,861, decrease
the Clerk-Council Svc Equip, Misc Equip by $1,000 and increase Election Division S&W by
$8,000. The amendment includes salary adjustments, the purchase of the Kona Office video
equipment (+$21,000), deleting the purchase of a vehicle (-$22,000) and providing for vacation
in the Election Division.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the expenditure(s) are reflected below:
Reserve for New Positions -98,444
Net Salary Increase Staff 17,547
Net Equipment -1000
Election Vacation 8,000
Total Adjustment -73,897
