Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
For your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the operating
budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund, Expenditures, Trs To
Disast/Emerg Fund by $130,000 and increase the Expenditures, Coordinated Services-
Equipment, Motor Vehicle by $130,000. The amendment will provide for two new passenger
vans for the Elderly Activities Division, one each in the Kohala and Hilo districts.
(Communication No. 1039.12 was approved on May 21 for a Kona van, while a Puna van is
included in the Operating Budget).
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the revenue account(s) and
expenditure(s) are reflected below:
