SUBJECT: Approval of an Appropriation Ord' n for the 2008
Workforce Investment Act (WI rogram
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
an Appropriation Ordinance for the 2008 Workforce Investment Act
(WIA) Program.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
appropriation ordinance at its meeting on May l9, 2008, and voted
as follows:
AYES: B. Ford, S. Higa, D. Ikeda, B. Jacobson,
A. Pilago, P. Hoffmann - 6
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: E. Naeole, D. Yagong, J Yoshimoto - 3
Accordingly, I am requesting that this appropriation ordinance be
included on the Council agenda for action at its June 2, 2008,
meeting.
