Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
Attached for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund Expenditures,
Transfer to Disaster/Emergency Fund by $76,790 and increase Fire Protection-S&W, Overtime
S&~U by $40,000, increase Fire Protection-OCE by $24,018, increase Fire Protection-Eqpt by
$12,772, The appropriation will provide for the Fire Department's Community Emergency
Response Team (CERT) training and supplies to train CERT volunteers effectively and
efficiently.
