Subject: Bills 269 and 280 Relating to Marijuana Eradication Appropriations
The above bills passed second and final reading at the Council meeting held on May 7, 2008.
Pursuant to County Charter, Section 3-10(2), a bill embracing the appropriation of public funds
shall be published in two daily newspapers three days before final reading by the Council.
I regret to inform you that Bills 269 and 280 were not published after first reading held on
April 22, 2008; therefore, I am requesting that a motion for reconsideration and a re-vote be
taken at the Council's May 20th meeting.
