Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
Attached for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would increase the General Fund, Revenues, Fund
Bal From Prev Year by $1,900,000 and increase expenditures Finance, Real Property Tax OCE
by the same amount. The appropriation will provide for contract appraisal services to update
resort, commercial and industrial property appraisals to reflect current market value for the fair
assessment of real property taxes.
