Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
For your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the operating
budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund, Revenues-Marijuana
Eradication by $370,000, decrease the Revenue, Statewide Marijuana Eradication by $159,000,
decrease the Expenditure Statewide Marijuana-Cty by $63,500, decrease the Expenditure,
Marijuana Eradication by $370,000, decrease the Expenditure, Statewide Marijuana by $159,000
and increase the Expenditures - Trns to Solid Waste Fnd by $63,500. A corresponding
amendment to the Solid Waste Fund would increase the Revenues, Transfer From Gen Fund by
$63,500, increase the Expenditure, Landfills OCE by $8,500 and increase the Expenditure,
Landfills Eqpt by $55,000. This amendment removes the State and Federal marijuana
eradication grants. The appropriation will provide for miscellaneous supplies for recycling and
one (1) flatbed truck for recycling white goods.
