Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3
Below for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 252, Draft 3, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would decrease General Fund, Expenditures, So
Hilo Police -S&W by $25,000, decrease Expenditures, Kona Police - S&W by $25,000 and
increase the Police Adm Div -OCE by $50,000. The appropriation will provide for recruitment
and retention incentives for police officers.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the expenditure(s) are reflected below:
