Subject: Support for Communication 1210.1 Army on depleted Uranium

Dear Council members,
Thie issue having the military make a presentation on the use of depleted uranium on the big island is a
good concept and I ask that you support communication 1210.1
This issue of one of great importance to the people of the island and while one can state facts and figures
regarding the minimal risk health hazard, it is nonetheless a real hazard in the minds of the people.
Gettin many sides of the issue is important.
I believe there can be a resolution in the long run that is win-win for everyone and similar issues have
been successfully addressed in many areas of the mainland. No new wheel need be invented here.
Please support this communication and give all parties a chance to be heard.
