Regarding Resolution No. 279-98
Dear Honorable Council Members,
Please help the people of Kona save cne of .)ur few precious beaches! The beachfront property at
Wai'aha Bay, also known as Honl's Beach, cuirem`} h: s tv.o old homes on it Even with these two small
houses, the white sand beach appears crowded ow by the sirucrures. Still, for many years (and I've lived in
Kona only 18 years) this beach has been a favonte ;-or riirfers, bead?-goers and sruf-watchers. Kailua-Kona has
only a handful of beaches and they are very s1z all. The only large beaches are all north in the Kohala District.
We, the voters of Kona, feel that Sobay Hawaii ]n,: should be, restricted from developing this beach, so that it
can be preserved for all future generations.
Please support Resolution 279-98 and''-elp us k,-T this ver} precious beach for public use!
