requesting Council's action on the Kona Regional Plan,
which was adopted by the Planning Commission in 1984.
Comm. 544: WATER DEVELOPMENT PLANS
From Councilman Robert N. Herkes dated April 18, 1986,
requesting that the Manager of the Department of Water
Supply and the Chairman of the Water Board appear
before the appropriate Council committee for a briefing
on ongoing and future water development plans and how
they relate to the County General Plan and to satisfy
the need for economic development within the County.

Single Family Residential (RS-15), Multiple Family
Residential (RM-6), Village Commercial (CV-10) and
open (O) at Ouli, South Kohala.

Comm. 485.3: From Bill Graham dated may 1, 1986, disagreeing with
Corporation Counsel Ronald Ibarra's opinion that the
EIS requirements question, which has to be ruled on by
Judge Shunichi Kimura, does not pertain directly to
Mauna Kea Properties rezoning request but is limited to
or focused upon the proposed hotel.
485.4: From Judy Graham dated May 2, 1986, transmitting
excerpts of the State Land Use Commission's
Findings of Fact, regarding the proposed South Kohala
Resort.
Page 21 shows that a condition of the State's approval
of rezoning the project's mauka lands is the
development of the applicant's resort hotel adjacent to
Hapuna Beach.
Comm. 564: TERM ADJUSTMENTS - KAILUA VILLAGE SPECIAL DISTRICT AND
URBAN DESIGN REVIEW COMMISSION
From Steven C. Todd, Mayor's Administrative Aide, dated
May 5, 1986, advising of the following term adjustments
for members of the Kailua Village Special District and
Urban Design Review Commission:
The terms of Ms. Gloria Bartolome,
Ms. Alfie R. Fujitani, Mr. R. Kelly Greenwell and
Mr. Stanley R. Oka should continue until
December 31, 1988 in order to comply with the
provisions of Section 25-266 of the Hawaii County
Code.
