Koi dated February 14, 1986, submitting an ordinance bill proposing to amend Chapter 25, Hawaii County Code, adopting new zoning maps for North and South Kohala districts. PC-29 Page 3 April 29, 1986 Comm. 516: NUCLEAR-WEAPONS-FREE ZONE DRAFT ORDINANCES From Carole Westby and Kevin Krisciunas submitting for consideration, two nuclear-weapons-free zone draft ordinances and an article which appeared in West Hawaii Today on April 10, 1986. Comm. 531: NUCLEAR-FREE REFERENDUM QUESTION From Anne Wheelock dated April 20, 1986, regarding the question of placing the nuclear-free referendum on the November 1986 general election ballot. Pet. 4: WAIONO MEADOWS RANCH REZONING, NORTH KONA From concerned citizens of North Kona requesting the County government to give careful consideration and close scrutiny in reviewing the proposed request by the owners of the Waiono Meadows Ranch. Comm. 532: Copy of letter to Mr. William S. Kawahara from Planning Director Albert Lono Lyman, dated February 24, 1986, informing that his letter cannot be made a part of the official record on the Waiono Meadows Ranch rezoning request, however, suggests that his thoughts be known to the County Council once the application is forwarded for appropriate action. Comm. 532.1: From Wayne S. Ogata dated April 15, 1986, transmitting communications from himself and the Planning Department regarding the rezoning request of Waiono Meadows Ranch, Ltd. Bill 148 AMENDMENT TO COUNTY CODE - LOBBYIST REGISTRATION (C-466) Relates to Lobbyist Registration. Intr. by: Mr. Domingo 1st Reading: April 9, 1986 Comm. 466.1: From Prosecuting Attorney Jon R. Ono dated April 7, 1986, informing that their office sees no problem with Bill No. 148 because it does not involve any criminal matter. 466.2: From Corporation Counsel Ronald Ibarra dated April 9, 1986, transmitting, as requested, his opinion on the legality of excluding only a certain group, such as attorneys, from the lobbyist registration requirement.
