Comm. 603: KONA REGIONAL PLAN From Mayor Dante K. Carpenter dated May 20, 1986, urging the Council's adoption of the Kona Regional Plan to serve as a guide for Kona's future. 603.1: From Arthur Takahara, President; James Sugai, Chairman, Land Committee; and Jeff citron, vice Chairman, Land Committee, Kona Farm Bureau, dated May 29, 1986, recommending that the adoption of the Kona Regional Plan be in the form of an ordinance, as it reflects long hours of meetings with the community forum, and is more binding than a resolution. Comm. 605: KEAHOLE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN From Bruce T. Tsuchida, Vice President and Manager, Planning and Land Development Department, R. M. Towill Corporation, dated May 19, 1986, informing their company has recently begun work on a comprehensive, long-range Keahole Airport Master Plan Study, which is being funded by the Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. Also, the DOT, Airport Division, has requested their assistance in setting up a Steering Committee and an Advisory Committee for the Study. Therefore, requests that the Council select one or more persons to serve as its representative on each of the committees. Todd, Mayor's Administrative Aide, dated may 5, 1986, advising of the following term adjustments for members of the Kailua Village Special District and Urban Design Review Commission: The terms of Ms. Gloria Bartolome, Ms. Alfie R. Fujitani, Mr. R. Kelly Greenwell and Mr. Stanley R. Oka should continue until December 31, 1988 in order to comply with the provisions of Section 25-266 of the Hawaii County Code.
