an award TSA Development Company received from the Kona
Outdoor Circle for the Kaloko Light Industrial
Subdivision buffer area. States their request to amend
Condition D of Ordinance 86-92, which is presently
before the Council, will affect the landscaping for
which they received the award.

support of Elizabeth McCormick's rezoning request
because the property, on the makai side, is adjacent to
land that is currently zoned one acre and based on his
understanding that the applicant will limit the
building of one house per lot with no ohana or second
dwelling allowed and that there also will be setbacks
and a buffer zone on the highway.

views on Elizabeth McCormick's rezoning application;
further, suggests that an impact fee be assessed
against the developer for infrastructure needs should
the lots size be approved for one acre.

C-1581.3: Albert Lono Lyman and himself regarding TSA-Y-O's
(cont'd) mauka-makai roadway construction. Asks what is the
Planning Committee's current position on downzoning of
Y-0 lands.
Comm. 1581.4: Copy of letter to Edward M. Gans from Planning Director
Albert Lono Lyman dated August 4, 1988, responding to
his letter regarding the TSA-Y-O mauka-makai road
connecting the Queen Kaahumanu and Mamalahoa Highways.
Acknowledges that downzoning could be initiated at this
time; however, since they are discussing alternative
remedies with the property owner, informs they are not
initiating such action at the present time. Also
informs their objectives are to assure development of
the road as soon as possible and to assure the
expeditious development of housing.

Comm. 1733: ZONING CHANGE FROM AGRICULTURE TO RURAL
PALANI ROAD AND MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY
From Tojiro Motoki dated August 2, 1988, informing, in
the belief that the land will be put to its most useful
and productive use, he is in favor of granting a zoning
change of the area at the Palani Road and
Mamalahoa Highway intersection from agriculture to
urban.

of Appeals for a term to expire on may 31, 1993.
Dan Barnes, an independent, to the Board of

Bergin, whose term expires on December 31, 1991.
