Krieger dated February 18, 1988, submitting a bill. to change the district classification for 25.9 acres of land from an Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) to an Agricultural 1-acre (A-la) zoned district at Kaloko, North Kona. Informs the Planning Director has recommended denial of the request and has proposed a change of the classification from an Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) to an Agricultural 3-acre (A-3a) district; however, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the rezoning request. Both legislative bills are being submitted for consideration. Comm. 1504.1: From Merry C. Youle dated March 25, 1988, informing of her opposition to the rezoning request of Elizabeth McCormick. Comm. 1703: INCLUSION OF A NEW CHAPTER TO THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE (Bill 593) RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS From Planning Commission Chairman Thomas A. Krieger dated July 11, 1988, submitting a bill amending the Hawaii County Code by including a new chapter relating to development agreements. Comm. 1704: DRAFT COUNTY GENERAL PLAN From PC Chairman Takashi Domingo dated July 12, 1988, transmitting a technical report and attachments submitted by Millie Kim, legislative staff and consultant to the Council on the General Plan. Comm. 1704.1: From PC Chairman Takashi Domingo dated July 12, 1988, transmitting copies of written comments from the Office of State Planning relating to the PC-79 Page 4 July 25, 1988 Comm. 1704.1: County's General Plan. Informs the comments consist (cont'd) of two sections: 1) comments on the Council's proposed Policy Statements and sections of the draft General Plan; and 2) comments on the LUPAG map in relation to the State's West Hawaii Regional Plan. States a State-County agreement on Transportation Planning, the State Water Code, and Administrative Rules relating to the State Water Code were also received with the comments. Krieger dated July 14, 1988, submitting a bill amending Section 25-114, Article 3, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Hawaii County Code, as amended, relative to the proposed Ponahawai Street extension through Mooheau Park from Kamehameha Avenue to the Hilo Bayfront Highway at Ponahawai, South Hilo. Informs they are also recommending approval of the Hawaii Redevelopment Agency's proposed amendments to its Downtown Hilo Redevelopment Plan.
