Comm. 1548: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE OFFICE From Planning Director Albert Lono Lyman dated March 18, 1988, transmitting for information, a draft ordinance proposing an amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Article 1, Division 7, Section 25-46, Hawaii County Code, relating to Supplementary Use Regulations. Informs the amendment would allow temporary real estate offices within the Single Family Residential (RS), Double Family Residential (RD), and Multiple Family Residential (RM) Districts for new residential developments under certain conditions. Res. 418: MO'OKINI LUAKINI HEIAU Supports S.B. 3329, which proposes to appropriate 387,156 in fiscal year 1988-89 for the establishment of the Mo'okini Luakini Museum/Educational Complex on land adjacent to the Mo'okini Luakini Heiau, one of Hawaii's largest and most sacred historical sites, located in Kokoiki, Kohala. Intr. by: Mr. Greenwell UNFINISHED BUSINESS Bill 467 AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) (C-1437) HAWAII REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Amends Chapter 25 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 by adding a new Downtown Hilo Commercial Zoning District. Intr. by: Mr. Domingo 1st Reading: January 18, 1988 Bill 468: Amends Section 25-114 (City of Hilo Zone Map) (C-1437) Article 3, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code, relative to the proposed Keawe Street/Kilauea Avenue right-of-way width and by changing the district classification from General Commercial (CG-7.5) and (CG-20), General Commercial Safety (CG-S-7.5), Office Commercial (CO-20) and Multiple Family Residential (RM-1) to Downtown Hilo Commercial (CDH) at Ponahawai, Punahoa 1st, Punahoa 2nd and Piihonua, South Hilo. Lai dated March 10, 1988, (Bill 467, transmitting for review, proposed amendment to Bill 467 Draft 2) and a bill amending the Hawaii County Code by adding a (Bill 511) new article creating a Downtown Hilo Design Review Commission. Comm. 1437.3: From Gordon H. Nobriga, Manager, Hawaii Redevelopment Agency, dated January 25, 1988, transmitting copy of an opinion from Assistant Corporation Counsel Patricia K. O'Toole regarding appeals from adverse HRA decisions related to the Downtown Hilo Commercial Zoning District (CDH). Hess, Secretary, Puna Community Council, dated February 2, 1988, transmitting for information, a copy of Resolution No. 88-01, which was adopted by the Puna Community Council on January 26, 1988, regarding the development of electrical production facilities from the geothermal resources of the Puna district.
