SUBJECT: Transmitting request for a presentation by the County Radio Oversight Committee
I request one hour in the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee on 1V~ay 19,
2008 for a presentation by the County Radio Oversight Committee (GROG). This committee
includes: Public Works, Police, Fire, Civil Defense, and Data Systems. Included in the
presentation will be Macro Engineering, the consultant for the 700 MHz radio system., ~~~ill be
here from the mainland.
To accommodate the needs of the Police Department, the PWIRC needs to be scheduled fc~r 1:3 U
PM or later.
