Dear Councilman Chung.
I am nriting in strong support of the above resolution to urge Mayor Yamashiro to
negotiate a fair and equitable settlement to exchange land at Wai'aha Bay. Access and
~ iews of the sea hay e been greatly obstructed in Kailua-Kona as a consequence of
inadequate planning. Yet another project blocking the remaining coastline ciews and
access mould for generations detract from the public egjoyment of this resource.
At the same tune. Sobay's rights as a property holder should be recognized and it is only
fitting that an alternative property be negotiated as compensation for this site.
