I am faxing yon this morning to strongly urge that you vote to support Resolution 551-08. We have a viable proposal an
the table and the Go~nty has spent a greet deal of money to get to where we are in the procurement process. 1t would
be s ridiculouE waEtE of Limo and taxpayer mpnGy nQt to allow this process to be completed. Allowing the process to
move forward will provide all of us fhe opportunity tb further review the protect.
My understan~ing is that ~ I~eSo~c~ipn ~b~ -U~ i~ signed it will allow Wheelabrator to begin looking at definitive acts and
figures at no risk to the ~ounty? Further, that the County Council will have several opportunities to review the numbers,
and envir4nmentaf impacts and to terminate the Wheelabrator contract at absolutely no risk or fin~nrial nhiic~~tign to the
County.
With this in mind, please vote in support of Resolution 55~-aa on May nth
