Subject: 2. Res. 551-08: Contract for aWaste-To-Energy Facility.
I reviewed the information on the Waste To Energy Contract and say NO ! ! ! to the project. At a time
when money is scarce and we are unsure as to how effective this proj ect could be I strongly believe this
is a poor choice solution to our ever growing needs to eliminate trash on the island. I do believe the best
approach available to us is to sell our trash and take that money and invest it until the time comes when
a cleaner more energy efficient technology comes into your hands that will aide our homeland instead of
adding more pollution. Just say NO!. Ciao Antonia
