Subject: Res 551-08 Waste to Energy
Please pass this resolution for Waste to Energy to proceed. There is enough safeguard built into it
that the county and council can decide at a later date to discontinue with no cost to the county,
We will get more facts and information to make a wise decision and we will be better informed
about the various processes available. Please don't use the excuse that we need to concentrate
on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle etc, This area is already being addressed all you have to do is check
the different projects that DEM is already working on to see this is true. There is no one single
answer to trash, We should be exploring all avenues available with open minds,
