Support for Resolution 622-08.
PARK AND RIDE FACILITIES WITHIN COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
Upgrading of mass transit services is needed to expand mobility options island-wide.
`Park-and-ride' facilities are part of this needed service upgrade.
As established in the Puna Community Development Plan, `park-and-ride'
facilities are needed to enhance opportunities for use of mass transit in Puna. The
facilities proposed in Resolution 622-08 are a good start to addressing this need.
