Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to submit the nomination of Eric Inouye of
Council District 6 to the Hawaii County Salary Commission.
Mr. Inouye is a life-time resident of Hawaii, and since 1984
has been the owner/manager of Hirano Store. He is a member of
the Big Island Automotive Trades Association. He is a member
of the Democratic Party.
If approved, Mr. Inouye will serve the balance of the unexpired
term, which will end on December 31, 2002. Should the Council
have any questions regarding this nomination, you may call me
