Notice is hereby given that the Hawaii County Council's Committee on Planning will be holding
a public hearing to heaz testimony on Bi11332 (Comm. No. 1051) and Bi11332, Draft 2 (Comm.
No. 1051.01), an Ordinance Bill Amending Section 25-8-3 (North and South Kona Districts
Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code, by Changing the
District Classification from Open to Project District at Kaupulehu, North Kona, Hawaii, Covered
by Tax Map Key 7-2-03:Portion of 1 (Approx. 1,078.634 Acres), Applicant: Kaupulehu
Developments. The purpose of this hearing is to allow interested parties to voice their concerns
and suggestions on the subject matter.
Copies of Bi11332 and Bi11332, Draft 2, may be reviewed at the Hawaii County Services Office,
75-5706 Kuakini Highway, Suite 103, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740; the Kona Councilmembers'
Office, 77-6399 Nalani Street, Suite 104, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740; and at the Office of the
County Clerk, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720.
All persons desiring to express their views on the above matter may do so orally at the hearing or
by submitting written statements to the Committee on Planning, County Clerk's Office,
25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, by November 12, 1998.
King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is accessible for persons with physical disabilities.
